"A Culture of Light, Shadow and Flowing Stream" Art Exhibition Opens at Siam Paragon
The show transforms the Jewel Dome of Siam Paragon into an immersive arena where light, shadow and water‑inspired forms guide the visitor’s senses. By blending photography and sculpture, the curators invite the audience to not just look at the pieces but to feel the cultural currents they evoke.
The photographic side is led by Chairod Mahadumrongkul, whose mastery of light captures fleeting moments of Thai tradition and modernity. His images play with contrast to reveal hidden narratives in everyday scenes.
Complementing the photographs, Sarawudth Duangjumpa, a National Artist in sculpture, presents three‑dimensional works that echo the flow of rivers and the rhythm of daily life. His pieces carve out a dialogue between heritage and contemporary identity.
Running from 3–16 September 2026 with an opening on 5 September, the exhibition also serves a philanthropic purpose. Sales proceeds will be directed to a range of medical and educational foundations, supporting equipment purchases, patient aid and academic research across Thailand.
In this way the exhibition becomes a “cultural experience” that links art, community and the enduring symbolism of water in Thai life.
