ART FACTORY Opens Its Exhibition Programme at Private Art Residence
Private Art Residence is a freshly launched private venue tucked inside the Zvezdy Arbata apartments in Moscow, where contemporary art, collectible design and residential interiors converge to offer a fresh way of experiencing artworks beyond the museum wall.
The project is built on a partnership between ASSETS MUSE, auction house ON, ART FACTORY Gallery and Place Freedom, each contributing a unique perspective that turns the space into a laboratory for dialogue between artistic practice and everyday living.
The inaugural show, “You Can’t Fly from Restaurants into Space”, curated with ON, brought together works by leading contemporary artists and rare pieces from the unofficial Soviet art scene, many of which made their Moscow debut.
Soon after, ART FACTORY Gallery presented “The Aesthetics of Everyday Life”, an investigation of how art objects shape our perception of space, featuring sculpture, ceramics, glass, and design objects that blur the line between exhibition and interior.
Participating creators include Marina Novitskaya, Irina Uspenskaya, Natalia Patrusheva, Marina Pribelskaya, Taisia Fokina, Anton Fokin, Maria Kone, Ekaterina Ponomareva and the duo Tish (Liza Golub & Nikita Shulyakov), alongside selections from IZZI Decor.
Place Freedom’s interior concept integrates its own collections directly into the exhibition, treating design as an essential thread of the artistic narrative. Visits are by appointment only, preserving the intimate, private character of the venue.
