Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery is hosting a Diwali party with Dishoom
The Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery is turning its grand halls into a festive Diwali arena on Monday, 2 November. In partnership with the popular Indian eatery Dishoom, the museum invites guests to a night of lights, music and a plant‑based feast.
BBC Asian Network supplies the soundtrack, spinning a lively mix that keeps the crowd moving from 7 pm until the venue closes at 11:30 pm. The program also includes free mehndi stations, offering a touch of traditional artistry for anyone who wants it.
Tickets grant access to a generous vegetarian or vegan buffet, complimentary chai and the full programme. Early‑bird pricing starts at £30, rising to £35 after 10 October, and the event is aimed at adults 18 and over. The celebration sits alongside a bustling calendar of Diwali events across the Midlands, from Wolverhampton’s Phoenix Park to the city’s own Diwali Mela on Soho Road.
