Emirates creates new Arsenal crest from used aircraft parts to celebrate 20 years of partnership
To commemorate two decades of partnership, Emirates has created a unique club crest for Arsenal using upcycled aircraft parts. The Aircrafted Arsenal Crest is a 2.4-metre-high sculpture made from 84 components of the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777.
The sculpture features Arsenal's famous cannon, formed from an A380 wheel hub and a titanium air duct, with the face of the shield made from sheets of 777 aluminium fuselage skin. The crest was unveiled at the Emirates Stadium by Sir Tim Clark, president of Emirates Airlines, and Richard Garlick, chief executive of Arsenal.
The Aircrafted Arsenal Crest will be permanently displayed in Emirates' hospitality space at the stadium, serving as a symbol of the partnership between Emirates and Arsenal, which has been extended to 2033.
