Johnny Depp’s First Major UK Art Exhibition Opens in London
Johnny Depp, known as actor and musician, steps into London’s art scene with his first major UK exhibition at Halcyon Gallery, opening on October 13, 2026. Following a recent show in Shanghai, the collection offers an intimate survey of decades of visual work.
The display gathers paintings, drawings and collages that echo his narrative drive. From tangled floral motifs to psychological portraits and fantastical figures, the pieces reflect the outsiders and anti‑heroes familiar from his film roles, while also turning inward with self‑portraits and alter egos.
A centerpiece is his inaugural sculpture The bunnyman, a half‑human, half‑rabbit guardian clutching a "sword of truth". First shown at Contemporary Istanbul and inspired by a sketch from his young son, the figure reappears across his prints and paintings.
Curators at Halcyon Gallery describe Depp as a modern Renaissance figure whose work functions as a visual diary, inviting viewers to move beyond his celebrity and engage with the emotional directness of his art.
The exhibition runs from October 13 at Halcyon Gallery, 148 New Bond Street, London.
