Marina Novitskaya at 1000 Vases during Paris Design Week 2026
The 2026 edition of 1000 Vases unfolded from September 11‑13 at 8 rue Chapon, forming a vibrant centerpiece of Paris Design Week. Over 60 countries were represented, each offering a fresh take on the seemingly simple vase as a vehicle for experimental form and material.
Since its 2018 launch, the show has evolved into an international laboratory where ceramic, sculptural, geometric and organic approaches converge, turning a functional object into a platform for artistic dialogue.
This year Marina Novitskaya contributed Evolution, the exhibition’s first glass vase. In this piece the glass does more than hold shape—it becomes the subject, its transparency, light and fluid volume reshaping the traditional vase into a sculptural experience.
The inclusion of Evolution reinforces the core conversation of 1000 Vases—the intersection of art and design, materiality and form—while highlighting the gallery’s focus on collectible object art that prioritises craftsmanship and visionary vision.
