Neverland at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery - 23 pictures of what to expect
An enchanting new immersive installation called Neverland has taken over the Gas Hall of Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, turning the historic space into a festive wonderland for families. \n\nThe environment glitters with fairy lights and winds through whimsical forests, a pirate ship, a crocodile’s lair, an enchanted camp, a creepy cave, a mermaid’s pool, a rowing boat, moving pictures and even a cosy bedroom complete with a Christmas tree and a teddy bear. \n\nVisitors can tie a ribbon to a wishing tree, sending hopes to children at Great Ormond Street Hospital, while interactive games and surprise moments keep the magic alive. A small shop offers keepsakes to remember the adventure. \n\nCreated by Culture Creative, the experience blends heritage sensitivity with playful storytelling, and proceeds support the Birmingham Museums Trust and the GOSH charity. Timed entry slots are limited, so early booking is advisable.
