New art walk brings creatives, musicians and makers into downtown Fort Smith
The inaugural Garrison Arts Walk transforms downtown Fort Smith into a bustling showcase of local creativity, inviting artists, musicians, and makers to share their work in the streets.
Hosted by Main Street Fort Smith and the Fort Smith Downtown Business Association, the free, family‑friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, spilling art onto storefront windows, sidewalks, and public spaces that already house a gallery, theater and live‑music stage.
Beyond the scheduled exhibitions, the walk turns the entire downtown core into an open‑air gallery, encouraging spontaneous performances and interactive installations that underline the city’s growing reputation as a cultural hub.
