A historic art gallery in Tangipahoa Parish is in the process of rebuilding after a devastating fire in March. The fire, which was sparked by a lightning strike on March 9, caused significant damage to the Twin Steeples Creative Arts Center and forced its indefinite closure.

The center has made significant progress in its repairs, with the entire roof truss system having been replaced. However, further work is still required, including updates to the steeple and interior. A tentative reopening date is expected to be announced soon, marking a new beginning for this beloved cultural institution.
