SCAA presents ‘Sticks & Stones’ nature art exhibit
The Santa Clarita Artists Association (SCAA) launches Sticks & Stones, a new exhibition that celebrates the beauty, texture and colour of the natural world. Local artists translate organic forms, landscapes and unexpected details into works that invite viewers to experience nature anew.
The show opens on Friday at the SCAA Gallery in Old Town Newhall, with a free reception Saturday from 5‑8 p.m. Highlights include a live‑painting demonstration by Noah Wohlenberg, an interactive necklace‑making station hosted by Judy Baerg, and a musical set by Isabella Bazler.
Open evenings run 5‑8 p.m. on Fridays, 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Sundays, giving ample opportunity to explore the dialogue between art and environment that the exhibit nurtures.
