SLU Contemporary Art Gallery hosting faculty exhibition
Southeastern Louisiana University's Contemporary Art Gallery is presenting the 2026 Visual Art + Design Faculty Exhibition through September 24. The show brings together work from the department’s faculty, offering a snapshot of current creative practice on campus.
The exhibition spans a wide range of media—painting, sculpture, performance, photography, printmaking, video, ceramics, theater design, and graphic design—highlighting the diverse expertise of the Visual Art + Design faculty.
A complementary lecture series runs alongside the show. Assistant Professor of ceramics Katie Baczeski will speak at 2 p.m. on September 9, followed by Assistant Professor of graphic design Jason Frostholm at 4 p.m. on September 16.
The gallery is located in East Strawberry Stadium at 411 Ned McGehee Drive. It is open Monday‑Thursday, 8 a.m.‑5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m.‑12 p.m.
