SZA recently used her platform to counter a snide comment that dared anyone to purchase a piece from balloon‑animal artist Adam Nassih. When a follower threatened to match a purchase if anyone bought the work, the singer called the bluff and stepped in herself.

In an Instagram carousel posted on October 15, she showcased one of Nassih’s vivid, inflatable sculptures, initially eyeing the most expensive piece before opting for a smaller, still striking work. Her caption highlighted the absurdity of the challenge and tagged the original critic.

The episode underscores how a single act of patronage can flip a negative online exchange into a payday for an emerging creator, while reminding would‑be haters that being a hater gets expensive.
