Workshop at Sobha Singh Art Gallery: 17 students receive hands
A recent 10-day art and craft training workshop at the Sobha Singh Art Gallery in Andretta provided 17 students with hands-on training in various art and craft activities.
The students, ranging from Class III to Class XII, were guided by master trainer Kamaljit Kaur and created a range of handmade items, including decorative rakhis, crochet products, and greeting cards. The workshop aimed to enhance creativity, improve fine motor skills, and encourage self-expression through practical learning and creative activities.
Kamaljit Kaur emphasized the importance of such workshops in helping children discover their creative potential, develop patience, imagination, and confidence, and nurture innovation and constructive thinking. This initiative is part of the Sobha Singh Art Gallery's efforts to promote creativity among young learners and provide opportunities to learn and practise diverse art and craft forms during school vacations.
